Day 1

Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Pick up from airport/hotel. Drive through the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara. Lunch and afternoon game drive. Spot the Big Five. Overnight at Flair Camp or similar.

Day 2

Full Day Maasai Mara

Full day game drive with packed lunch. Search for large herds of herbivores, cheetahs, and leopards. Visit Mara River migration point. Return to camp for dinner.

Day 3

Mara to Lake Nakuru

Full breakfast then proceed to Lake Nakuru. Enjoy scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha. Optional boat ride ($20). Afternoon game drive to see rhinos and flamingos. Overnight at Eduardo rustic or similar.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

Breakfast and depart for Amboseli with hot lunch in Nairobi. Arrive late evening. Famous for Mount Kilimanjaro backdrop and open plains. Dinner and overnight at Nyati Tented Camp or similar.

Day 5

Full Day Amboseli

Early morning game drive. Enjoy close proximity to large elephant herds. View Mount Kilimanjaro. Picnic lunch. Continue game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 6

Amboseli to Arusha via Namanga

Early game drive in swampy areas. Breakfast and check out. Drive to Namanga border, catch shuttle to Arusha. Meet our driver and transfer to Arusha Hotel on bed and breakfast. Overnight at Charity Hotel or similar.

Day 7

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Breakfast then scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Full day game drive. Overnight at Twiga Campsite or similar.

Day 8

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Breakfast, depart Arusha for Serengeti (6 hrs drive). Lunch en route. Registration at main gate, game drive to central Serengeti camp. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite or similar.

Day 9

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Early breakfast. 6-hour game drive in Serengeti tracking wildebeest, zebras, lions, and more. Stop at Olduvai Gorge (optional, $35). Evening arrive at conservancy. Dinner at Simba Camp.

Day 10

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Breakfast then descend into Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. Spot lions, elephants, black rhino, hippos at crater rim. Picnic lunch. Ascend and drive to Arusha. Drop at hotel.

Day 11

Departure

Breakfast and check out by 7:30am. Transfer to Arusha airport or shuttle back to Nairobi. Meet our staff, share your experience, and drop at Nairobi hotel or airport for departure.
